Analogously, semiconductor has launched the CSA24x series of current detection amplifiers with a wide common mode voltage range of -6V to 80V, and the CSA24x series of current detection amplifiers with enhanced PWM suppression function is used to detect the voltage drop at both ends of the shunt resistor within a wide common mode voltage range of -6V to 80V independent of the power supply voltage. The CSA24x series of products are suitable for high and low edge current sampling in industrial and automotive applications such as motor drive, energy storage, in vehicle chargers (OBCs), electronic power steering (EPS), power modules, etc. By high-precision sampling of busbars and phase lines in these systems, it helps the system achieve precise current control.

Relying on the PWM suppression module independently developed by analog semiconductors, the CSA24x series current detection amplifier has excellent enhanced PWM suppression function. It can effectively collect current signals under high common mode transients and suppress common mode jump signals that rise/fall as fast as 3V/ns, resulting in an output signal establishment time of less than 1.2us. This indicator is significantly improved compared to the 2us of similar products. Secondly, the common mode voltage range of the CSA24x series is -6V~80V, allowing it to operate in a lower common mode voltage range, especially in applications with inductive loads.

The CSA24x series devices adopt a zero temperature drift architecture with low offset, enabling current detection when the maximum voltage on the splitter is reduced to 10mV (full scale). In addition, the CSA24x series has better DC performance, with a maximum Vos voltage of ± 15uV, zero drift of ± 0.25uV/℃, and a gain error of 0.1%, which can help customers achieve more accurate current measurement.

The CSA24x series products are suitable for high or low side current sampling in industrial and automotive applications such as motor drive, energy storage, in vehicle chargers (OBCs), electronic power steering (EPS), power modules, etc. These systems often require high-precision sampling of busbars and phase lines to achieve precise current control. The CSA24x series of products can be applied to high common mode current measurement in all systems powered up to 60V. Its enhanced PWM common mode suppression ability is very suitable for high common mode transients, and high static performance can more accurately detect system current to achieve the entire loop control.

The CSA24x series currently includes two versions: CSA241 and CSA240. Among them, CSA240 is a high bandwidth version with a bandwidth of 450kHz, which can capture high-speed current conversion more quickly; CSA241 is a low-power version with a static power consumption of 0.8mA, suitable for battery powered applications with high power requirements.

The launch of the CSA24x series current detection amplifiers enriches the product roadmap of analog semiconductor current amplifiers. On the other hand, by combining the CSA24x series with analog semiconductor mass-produced high common mode current amplifiers and digital power detectors, a complete current sampling scheme can be formed, which can be combined with analog motor drives, digital to analog converters, high-precision amplifiers, and other products, We can provide customers with a complete overall solution, thereby practicing the concept and positioning of "high-quality chip platform supplier" adhered to by analog semiconductors.
